Low poly cage and projection


      Once my UV map was finished I continued on to bake a high poly projection onto my low poly model.

After my low and high poly models have been build I began the process of UV mapping each section of the weapon.

Using the concept sketch I have produced, I was able to produce a high poly model followed by a low poly.

Quick sketch for upcoming weapon model assignment  Futuristic laser based weapon with scope. A weapon of advanced technology.


I have committed to a research that would help me determine weapon choice, as well as possible color combinations for my texture. I have decided to design a futuristic weapon model but might consider some changes in color when applying the texture as bright colors can affect the effects given by the specular map making them harder to notice.




                                                              Goblin texture assignment


My task was to paint texture over a already built model, supported by Polycount forum. I decided to go for the gobiln as I thought it seemed not too hard and too easy at the same time.

I was assigned to design a chosen 3D model.
From various options I decided to go for a throne, which were to be modeled at no more than 1000 TRIS.


After conducting my research via web, I began to design my own throne. I've started off by drawing a quick sketch that would help me develop my ideas and visually express them by putting it onto paper.
